To much usage of my phone has led me to be unproductive. It has decreased my attention span. At the end of the day it leaves me with a bitter taste of myself. These habits of mine has to be stopped and cut down. I’m jotting down what i do everyday and I’m going to try my best to cut down on things and journal my progress for the next 15 days.
Let’s see where it gets me.
Either I end up triumphant, or a looser who gave it a shot.

1. Rising up a hour early than usual

My wake up time at the time of writing this blog is 9 – 10 a.m
I’m going to wake up by 8 a.m , Just an hour early. This is going to be my key stone habit

2.Not staring into the phone first thing in the morning

I get up everyday to stare at the phone first thing in the morning. I would like to give myself a leash to look at my phone after an hour. The first 1 hour of my day is going to be a no phone zone.

3.Note down the most important tasks and communications that I have to do

After the first 1 hour, I would like to note down the most important things i have to do in terms of the tasks I have to do in my personal life and the communications that needs to happen from my end. When I tune in to work I would like to use the first 30 minutes of my time to note down the most important tasks to complete

4.Use the right work place

Waking up in bed. Rolling over and opening the laptop has done me nothing but harm. The place matters. I would like to wake up and go over to my room and start my work.

5.A phone free work environment

I would like to work without my phone being there right next to me. Right now , Every call i speak , I have my phone on the side to scroll through Instagram reels. That leaves me unfocused.

6.Bring down my screen time below 5 hours a day

I use my phone to watch movies when i eat. I usually take a 30 minutes to have my food. And I take my phone with me when I use the rest room as well. Telling myself I don’t want to waste the time I’m using the restroom. Using Instagram in the Restroom is not productivity for sure.

7.QT

I would like to do my quiet time with God regularly without fail. Faith is my driving factor. I have to flex those muscles everyday to keep them growing.
